The Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Smržovka is presented as being one of the most beautiful and best positioned churches in the district.
The Church of St. Michael the Archangel, the Late Baroque dominating feature in the vicinity, stands on Kostelní Vrch (Church Hill), 649 m above sea level and dominates the whole Smržovka town.
It is one of the best situated churches in the region, being located in a straight line between the Ještěd and the Sněžka mountains. The Church of St. Michael the Archangel holds masses, advent and benefit concerts and it is also open to public on special events of the town.
