Skiing in the Tanvald area
The Tanvald area, a tourist region which offers an extensive number of opportunities for active relaxation, lies in the heart of the Jizera Mountains. You can admire the winter beauty of the Jizera Mountains Nature Reserve during cross-country skiing trips or while downhill skiing at a number of smaller and larger skiing resorts. The best known of these include Tanvaldský Špičák or nearby Harrachov, while the Szklarska Poręba resort in neighbouring Poland is also popular.
